1/ Question :  Why frozen baby food ?.

Answer :
It's simple, the freezing process is nature's way of preserving food. By using this process we can retain as much of the natural goodness as possible, so the flavour, colour and textures remain real, ultimately offering an alternative that is genuinely good for your child as good as what you can make at home.

2/ Question: Why does Motherly taste like home made and not like the commercial jars & pouches?.

Answer :
Many  baby food manufacturers use high temperature cooking processes  around 130°C,
( You and I can't boil water over 100°C ).
This high temperature process can destroy much of the natural flavour, nutrients & vitamins in food. Also high temperature processing can destroy the natural texture & fibre in foods. To fix this and make thier mush palletable again they add chemicalised starches, or apple to sweeten and thickenen, then chemicalised vitamins are added back to replace natural goodness lost in the over processing of the food.

3/ Question : Is Motherly the same as what I make at home ?.

Answer :
Certainly is,  just quitely it's probably a little better than what many mums can make at home.
For one, we have made this our business to make high quality baby food and have educated our selves in this field. Our food is made in a boutique manufacturing environment by qualified personnel trained in food safety and hygiene. Our recipes have been developed by qualified chefs, and dietitians. They are consistent flavoursome, colourful and well balanced nutritionally.
We use only Australian ingredients from the best local supply chains we can find.
The only difference will be that our pots are a little bigger than yours and that we have a couple of hi tech machines to help us fill our Cubes and Lil Pots for tots.

4/ Question: Is Motherly Allergy free ?.

Answer:
Motherly is free from all major allergens.
including Gluten, Soy, Egg, Dairy and Nuts.

5/ Question: How many cubes should I feed my baby?
Answer:
It really depends but we suggest starting with one cube and simply adding  further cubes as babies appetite develops.

6/ Questions: What solid foods should I start to feed baby first.
Answer: Of course we suggest starting with a rice cereal like farex. Then use individual vegetable or fruits, smooth pea puree, carrot puree, to check for reactions. After this stage go to meat and vegetable puree compilitions that include pulses and grains.
Avoid sweetened custards avoid savoury foods that have added sweeteners like apple or sugars as this will do nothing but teach baby poor early eating habits.

7/ Question: Do you have a custard product in your range ?.

Answer:
We don't believe commercially sweetened custards are nessasary in a babies diet or development we have avoided making one for this reason, mash a banana or give them some other wonderful naturally sweetened fruit treat.
